how do I find letter of condolence templets?

I've never seen a letter of condolence so I doubt that there are any
templates available. Any letter template could be used - just replace the
text with your own words.

Wow, how cold and impersonal would a template be? Whatever happened to
writing an original letter of condolence from the heart?

How about this:

[Date]

I am sorry to hear that [Name] has passed away. Time heals all wounds, so I
know that you will soon feel better.

Please accept my most sincere condolences.

[Your name]

(And then forget to fill in [Date], [Name], [Your Name].)

And the first one that popped up when I did the Google search suggested that
a letter of condolence should be handwritten and not typed.

Do not tell <friend> they will feel better.

Of course not...
I think you missed the gist of the thread branch where I posted that
"suggestion"...
;-)

....and how could anyone presume to know they'll feel better soon?

Ouch, 2 out of 3...
I guess my sense of humour is too weird for most...

It looks like only JoAnn realized that I was not suggesting that drivel as a
serious text for the circumstances. Unless Tom's sense of humour is even
weirder than mine!

Tom is about as twisted as *you* can get...but he's not nearly as twisted as
*I* can get. ;-)

Sorry, as soon as I hit "Post" I knew I had not been clear...

The "you" in my statement was refering to all readers but you!

Shhhhhhhhhhhhh....let's just surprise them, shall we?
