How do I find "invalid reference"?

I have modified an Excel spreadsheet in Office (on a Dell Pentium II
450MHz), and now am using "Save As" to save it.

When I save it I get the Microsoft Excel Alert (yellow triangle wit
exclamation mark) with the message:
"Your formula contains an invalid reference to an external worksheet".

I wasn't aware there is a formula in the worksheet that links to a
external worksheet. I guess I have inadvertently created one.

How do I find which formula this refers to?
Can I ask for a listing of all formula that link to externa
worksheets?

I just don't know where to start looking for the problem.

Thanks,
Mik

I'm not sure how excelforum shows you the thread, but you can usually search
Google within a few hours to see if any responses appeared.

I searched here:
http://groups.google.com/advanced_group_search

by specifying your subject in the "subject contains" box
and only the *excel* newsgroups

I found this:
http://groups.google.com/[email protected]

OK, can anybody tell me where to go to get the answer? Another forum?

Need some help here!!! :
