Hello all. My c drive is currently partitioned into two drives, "c" and "f",
with windows being installed in "c". I have a second hard drive now, and I
want to make it so that the "c" drive is whole again. How do I do this?

Your best option would be to get a partitioning utility such as Ghost
from Symantec or BootItNG from www.bootitng.com

These will allow you to delete the F: partition and then add this
space to the C: partition without destroying the existing contents of
the C: partition. Anything in F: would be lost.

Good luck

I did just that the other day. I downloaded Knoppix (
http://www.knoppix.org/ ) which is a free version of Linux that runs from
CD, the download is a .iso CD image file which you burn to a CD.. When it
has booted up navigate to Qparted (I think it is under System or similar).
It is a partition handling program. I used it to delete the second
partition and then expand the boot partition (C:) to fill the entire drive -
it does not matter that the partitions you are working on are Windows
partitions. One point to remember, when you make the changes they will
appear to have taken place but will not actually occur until you click on
Commit, which I seem to remember is in the File menu.

Hope this helps
