My main computer hard drive bit the dust. I have a copy of my Outlook on my
laptop computer. How do I export the messages from that computer to my main
computer. All questions I have seen posted show exporting OE to Outlooks -
not Outlooks to Outlooks...

It depends on how the Outlook email is set up, but normally Outlook
email is stored in .pst or .ost files in a hidden folder, typically
"C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst"

If it's a .pst file, copy it to the new computer and use Outlook's
Import and Export menu command to import the messages to the new
mailbox.

If it's a .ost, open Outlook on the laptop and use Import and Export to
export the messages you need to a .pst file and proceed as above.

If this doesn't make sense, or if you have any problems, ask again in a
Microsoft Outlook forum: this newsgroup is for Microsoft Access database
software.
