I am trying to copy an address book from Microsoft Outlook (2002, SP3) to
Works to use on a laptop. How do I do that please?

If memory serves correctly, the process is as follows:

#1 - Export your contact list from Outlook to a CSV file
#2 - Import the CSV file into MS Works

That said, just as an aside, this is an MS Works question and not an Outlook
question. In general, questions related on how to get info "into" one
product (in this case MS Works) are related to that program since it's that
program's capabilities that dictate what is and isn't possible (and how). If
the info provided above is incorrect, then you would be far more likely to
get better info/responses in the newsgroup related to MS Works. (This is not
intended as a criticism, just as a point of info).

What file types can Works import? Choose a file type that Outlook can
export.

Thank you for your help. I will try to give that a try. Thanks for letting me
know about where to post these posts, too. I didn't know whether it was the
outgoing or incoming programme that determined the parameters. In my
ignorance I guessed wrong. Thank you.
