how do I execute Teradata macros from excel?

I have a requirement to execute macros on Teradata from excel. Every time
we've tried it, we get prompted to select a table and columns in the query
window. How do you override that and make it pass-thru sql only?

you cant do this with microsoft access 2003.

you must upgrade to microsoft access 2004:

I know nothing about the Teradata end, but if you don't select a table
in the query window you can then switch it to SQL view (button at top
left of toolbar, or right-click on title bar of query window) and start
typing.
