How do I enable OneNote?

I have a OneNote icon, and I would like to begin to use it, but every time I
click on it, the message that comes up says "You must run OneNote first . .
.."
So - How do I run OneNote?
 
By starting it from the Start Menu. Look in the Microsoft Office folder of
All Programs in the Start Menu.
