How do I embed an exit button on a slide show for touch screen?

Want to create a slideshow for a touch screen monitor - not sure how i exit
the slide show once it's running . How do i insert an exit button on top of
the show - or can I just touch the screen?

I don't have a lot of experience with touch screens, but I'm assuming that a
screen touch acts like a mouse click. You didn't say which version of
PowerPoint you are using. You also didn't say when you want them to be able
to exit. If you want them to be able to exit at any time, you can add a
button to the Slide Master and assign an Action Setting of Hyperlink to "End
Show."
