how do I eliminate blank slide at end of presentation

When running a presentation after my last slid power point displays a blank
screen with text at the top saying end of show click to continue. I don't
want to end on this slide.

Go to the Tools menu and choose Options. Click on the View tab and uncheck
the box for End with black slide.

Note that David's method will only work on your computer. If you distribute
the file or use it elsewhere you'll probably find that the black slide is
back.

Another way is to untick on click and automatically in the transition pane
of the last slide and add an action button to end show (label it clearly)
