I am not a tech guy so please bear with me. I have a powerpoint that plays a
flash movie. I belive the code is in visual basic. It has a word spelt wrong
and I need to correct it. How? I have tried to search for the word but no
luck. Whe I tried to just outline and white it out, it is fine but when I do
'slide show' it appears again. Thanks for the help.

Unfortunately, you can not edit the Flash object from PowerPoint. You will
have to use Flash to edit it (and I'm guessing you only have the Flash
player, so you probably can't). I don't think there is any workaround to this.

Is there something I can download to do it? If I understand this right: A
flash was created seperately and than inserted in powerpoint?

Sushil,
Do a google search for "free flash editor" - I got 594 hits.
make sure you use the quotes.

You would need to get the FLA file and edit that, then export/publish it as
a SWF.

I suspect that you have a SWF file, and I don't think they're editable, even
in the Flash program. But you should ask on the Adobe boards to make sure,
since Adobe makes Flash.

SWF files (which you will have) are really difficult to get into an editable
form (it can be done with a decompiler eg Sothink SWF decompiler but it's
difficult) You should ask the author for the FLA file or maybe a corrected
SWF file. Be aware that even if you get the FLA Flash has a fairly steep
learning curve!
