How do I edit a task I assigned to someone else.

I am trying to edit a task that I assigned to someone, i.e. I left off the
due date before I sent it and want to assing one. How can I do this function?

As far as I know, once you assign a task to a person, the task belongs to that
person. You can't change it any more.
