How do I divide a number by another number when there is no divis.

My son has to do Algebra and has to divide certain numbers and we can't find
the button to divide the numbers. Please help
 
Ursula,

Enter the "top" number in cell A1, and the "bottom" number in A2. Then in
A3, type in

=A1/A2

and that's your answer.
