you should be able to type in the code for the date you want -
dddd, MMMM dd, yyyy = Wednesday, August 25, 2004
ddd, MMM dd, yy = Wed, Aug 25, 04

Thanks for your reply Diane.
I had already done this having found this advice in help - but the
problem I have is that I want the computer to be set on English (United
Kingdom) so that it refers to £'s not $'s and uses the UK dictionary etc.
Unfortunately for some reason the UK setting excludes the day.
Is there anyway to customize the day/date only - leaving the currency
unchanged?

you need to change the long date format in control panel, regional
settings.

I have Microsoft outlook 2002. In calendar mode on the weekly display I
would like to display the day of the week for each day - as well as the
date. This seems like a very simple requirement but I can't work out how
to do it - nor can I see other queries on the subject. Can anyone help?
