Eboo,
The Home Phone number field CAN exist in your Business Contact records. It
is just not displayed in the default record item form layout. This default
layout displays only 3 of the phone number fields at a time and BCM is not
currently customizable for you to change this only "3-fields-at-a-time"
record form display layout limitation but you can change which 3 phone number
fields are displayed by doing the following: In the Phone Numbers section
of the Business Contact record, click on the one of the square boxes
containing the downward pointing arrows (located on the immediate left side
of the 3 displayed phone number fields) This opens a drop down pick list for
you to view all of the phone number fields that the Business Contact record
can populate with a value. Those fields among this drop down list that
currently have a check mark indicate that field contains a populated value.
Just click on the Home Phone number field and it will now display as one of
the default phone number fields on the record. If the home phone number
field that was displayed in the drop down pick list did not previously have a
check mark by it this field will display as empty until you enter data into
it. After entering in the number, the drop down list will now have a check
mark by that field.
Yo, Microsoft. Add this record forms layout customization feature to future
versions of BCM ... please???
