Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the whole security aspect of Access, and I've read everything I
could find on the subject. Most of what I've found refers to an Access
Project, but I'm running a .mdb application. I figured out that I need to set
the AllowBypassKey to false, and that I first have to create the property.
That's where I hit the wall.

Can anybody help - Thanks!

note: make sure you set up a way to turn AllowBypass back ON, so you can
get back into the database yourself. also note that this only keeps users
from messing around in the database structure when it's open. unless you use
the built-in security, there's nothing to stop the user from opening another
..mdb file in Access, and importing all the objects in your database. even if
you deploy a .mde file, the user can still import tables, table links,
queries, and macros.
