Please anyone, I'm trying to turn off the cd record
function on win exp but can't find how to do so.

Open Windows Explorer, right click your burner drive, select Properties, go
to the Recording tab, remove the check from Enable CD recording on this
drive, click apply and OK.

Hi Raul,

Start/run services.msc and double-click the imapi burning service. Stop it
and set the startup type to disabled, click apply/ok, do not reboot. Then
right-click the CD drive in Windows Explorer, select properties and go to
the recording tab, uncheck the line "enable recording on this drive". Then
click apply/ok and reboot.
