Hi,

Is there a difference? I know you have 80 and 40 ribbon cables. The 80
ribbon cable is for ATA100 and ATA133 as far as I know (at least thats how I
use it in my PC). The 40 is for slower ATA interfaces.

..

The 80-wire, 40-pin connector cable was created for ATA66. The same
cable is used for ATA66, ATA100 and ATA133.

Thanks... I did not know that, Regards
