I am using MS Office 2007 Trial, can anyone tell me how to delete a Word
document that is Read-Only?

Thank you for your reply. I tried that, but the file isn't listed and i
don't know where else to look for it. All my other files are listed except
this one particular one.

If it's not listed, how can you know it is there to delete it? This doesn't
make sense.

I might not be looking in the right place. I have found all of my other
documents though in My Documents, except this one.

In MS Word it is listed in Recent Documents. I can't delete from there. The
rest of my documents are in My Documents, this one particular one is not.

It sounds as though it is already deleted. Try to open it from the Recent
Document list. You probably will find that it cannot do it because it has
been deleted.

Only you can know where you saved that file. Open it again and this time pay
attention to the path where the file is located.

Hi Mia,

In Word 2007, if you hover the mouse over any Recent Document entry in the Office Button (file) listing it should show you the full
path to the document location.
