When I open a site with Front Page the dialouge box that says "connected to
[website] has several options for username when you select the drop down box.
I don't know how those names got in there! they are my email addresses! How
do I delete them???

With the entry selected, press the delete key on your keyboard, should do it.

If you feel your current issue is a results of installing
a Service Pack or security update, please contact

If the problem can be shown to have been caused by a
security update, then there is usually no charge for the call.

No that doesnt help. The box is empty by default but if you click the drop
down it gives you all of these options. Sure, if you select one of the
usernames you can delete it again by hitting delete, but it doesnt
permanently delete it from the drop down. Again, this is in FrontPage when
you are opening a site and it asks you for username.

Thanks for your help, though!

hey I made a picture to show you what I am talking about. The program is
FrontPage and I made the dialogue bigger so you can see it. I put a red arrow
pointing at what I'm talking about. Hope that helps!! Just follow this link:

Ok, I am not sure how you delete those from that type of dialog. Might check under Control Panel |
Users.

I dont think that is going to help. What is puzzles me is how my email
addresses got into that dialogue in the first place! Really, autofill is not
a good thing. How do I find out how to delete those? It is important to me as
it is my private email address.

Those "passwords" are retained by IE
Usually you can remove them using a tool like PSPV
