When I get ready to send an email out in Outlook and start to look for a
recipient in the "Select Names" window, I find blank contacts, seven of them
to be exact, that appear with only ( ) in the display column. I am unable to
identify them nor can I delete them even though when you right click on the
mouse it says it will delete them. They don't disappear and still remain. How
can I get rid of them? I use to have a Nokia 9300 phone that sync with my
Outlook and it seemed to appear after some use of the this phone. It didn't
happen immediately but over a period of time. I don't use that phone any more
and have deleted the program the but the problem seems to persist and those
blank recipients remain in my "Select Names" window.

You cannot edit data in the address book view and should not try. Examine
the underlying Contacts Folder and remove the invalid entries there.
