Hi, I downloaded and installed a program called Smart
Stopper. It is a popup stopper. I did not like the
program so I removed it with Add/remove program function.
Everyhing removed except the label for the toolbar. YOu
find this when you go to view/toolbars or if you right
click on a toolbar. There is no apparent way to delete
this label as it nolonger serves a function. How do I get
rid of this toolbar label?

Thank you

Try this, goto Start>>Run>>Type "regedit", search
for "Smart Stopper" and delete all the keys. then restart
your computer.

BTW, be carefull that u only delete things that are in
some way connected to "Smart Stopper"

Hi,

Check your settings here: Start/Run/Regedit

To remove it manually go to: Start/Run/Regedit and navigate to this key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar

To have it removed automatically, run this edit:

Remove Added IE Toolbar Entries (Line 174)

Remove Button from Tool Bar and Delete ButtonText

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Extensions

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Extensions

Select each subkey and look at its MenuText value in the right-hand pane.
When you locate the menu item, delete the entire subkey.
