You have to delete the linked table.
Then you have to re-link it.
This cause all the fields to be correct again.
You need to do this anytime the source table is modified.
It is OK to do it by hand once or twice - but if it is done on a regular
basis you should write some code to do it for you at the "click of a
button".
I use this procedure to re-create links to SQL Server.

There is a local Access table (tblODBCTables) that contains the table names
I want to link to on the Server.
Note: the source table name needs the dbo. prefix which is in the code. The
linked table name usualy omits this. .
