Defragging the registry will have zero effect on this type of problem,
or any other problem for that matter.
We need some more specific information as to the name(s) of the
program(s) involved and the other circumstances surrounding these
errors.
Is your antivirus software completely up to date, with the virus
definitions not less than a week old? How about spyware detection and
removal? Which tools do you use and how long has it been since your
