How do I deal with a corrupt file

I had Franklin Covey as an add-in but when I uninstalled it, there was in my
folder list a series of folders that said Franklin Covey Installation Files.
I can't open or delete them and when I try to close them I get the message
"no object." How do I get rid of these files?

A new mail profile should do that.
