How do I customize my inbox in Outlook?

I am trying to change the background in my inbox from white to another color,
I have not been very successful with finding the answer, I hope you all can
help.

I don't believe it's possible to change the color on the Inbox body
specifically. You can change the Windows color scheme which will change the
window background color for all windows.
