How do I create rotation like hands on a clock?

I would like to create an animation where one end of the an arrow remains
stationary and the other rotates, similar to the hands on a clock. I can only
see how to make the whole of the arrow follow the motion path I have created
though.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Update:

I have now found the "Spin" animation but this does not allow me to choose
the path; it only rotates in a circle. I want the end of my arrow to describe
an elipse.

I am trying to animate a vector (arrow) against three coordinate axes. The
vector should precess around the z axis (vertical), hence the eliptical path.

Thanks,

Jimmy

The trick is to group your arrow with another arrow (the 'other' arrow has
no fill or outline color). The other arrow is also a mirror of the visible
arrow.

Sort of like on arrow is pointing to 12 midnite,

the other arrow is pointing to 6 o'clock

make the 12 midnite arrow invisible, group it with the 6 o'clock arrow, then
it will rotate around the middle of the clock.
