I have 2 shared calendars one for all staff and another for marketing. Is
there a feature I can use when creating an appointment that will allow me to
place it in both calendars at once? If possible I would like to avoid using
copy & paste or having to recreate it again.

where are the other calendars? if in your mailbox, you need to copy and
paste. if a public folder or a different mailbox, invite the calendar to a
meeting but don't request responses.

There are third-party calendar synchronizer apps available.

Thanks for the great advice!!
