How do I create a Windows Mail account???

I have been trying to set an email account with the new windows vista mail
program, "Windows Mail". I get as far as entering my email address, but I
cant seem to get the software to take up my "new" windows live account which
it asked me to create. Therefore, I have now Vista Desktop email apart from
Messenger Live. I have tried all the usual fixes like searching through the
help and web resources and restarting my PC.

Is anyone familiar with this problem??

Windows Mail won't work for Windows Live (Hotmail) accounts. Try Windows
Live Mail Desktop:
