How do I create a main access page for my database

I have created a database using Access 2000 but what I want to do is create a
main page, so when you open up the database, the first thing you see is a
page with buttons on it, one will say database and the other reports, how do
I do this.

I'm new to access so a step by step guide would be greatly appreciated

One way is to use the Switchboard Wizard.
