how do I create a logo and banner for my business with Micrsoft Office? I
need them and dont know how to creat them.

See http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/wordfaqs/Letterhead.htm for advice on creating
a Word template to hold your logo.

You can make a complete logo from text only, or mix text and graphics.

If you want to use just type, like the first couple of illustrations in the
article, you can work entirely within Word. Look at the professionally
designed logos you receive in the mail, and choose one to use as a model.
Choose the font (or maybe two fonts, but no more, to avoid looking like a
ransome note), size, color (again, no more than two colors), and position.

If you want to use graphics as part of the logo, you have to decide whether
you're good enough as an artist to create your own, or whether it would be
better to find existing artwork. Look through the Office Clipart collection,
browse the Internet (try Google Image Search), scan in original art,
whatever is necessary. Microsoft Word isn't an approppriate application for
creating artwork, but it can import files in many graphic formats. Look at
the "More complex letterhead" section of the article above to see how to
handle the graphics.

Or if you have publisher you can create a blank sheet of paper then click on
design gallery objects from the objects toolbar, in 2003 it's on the left
side bottom button and choose a premade one and talior it to your liking.
