How do I create a history page for contact management in access?

When you enter details of a visit or a telephone call with a client, I would
like to go to a history page which will show each call by date reference
number, order amount and notes? This will by client. Using Access 2003.
 
I think what you want is a Command Button that opens a Report.

First make the Report with the info as you want it and save it with a Report
Name. Then on your form you can add a Command Button - and the wizard will
take you thru the most common options of a command and one option will be to
Open a Report....it will prompt you for the Report name....
 
I tried that and it does work - thank you, however the report gives a list of
all clients and their activities and only the alst activity. Maybe my report
set-up is wrong but I need to see by date each activity ove a period of time
for a chosen client.

well the Report should not show just the last activity - so on this point I
think it is your Report design......

but the bigger issue I think is that I did not know you did not want all
clients.....if you want just the info of the one client for which you are
entering new data - then that is a different thing; and there are different
ways to accomplish....parameter query, filtered report, or subform....

not really complicated but its kind of tough to explain these in this forum
and part of it will depend on the structure of your table and how you want
things to look....
