I have created a form in Access that I now want to be able to filter in order
to find needed information more quickly. I did a trial as I was first
creating it where I filtered by form. When I did this I could choose a field
(e.g. Item Category) and pick a category from a drop-down list. Now that I
have entered all of the data, when I filter by form, I still get a drop down
list, but it only lets me sort by a null or not null value for any given
field. I read something in the help menu about needing to change an
expression that prevents Access from reading a large amount of data, but I
have no idea how to do that and have a feeling that someone out there who is
a little more Access smart than I has a simple solution. HELP!
