I need to set up a workstation running Win 2000 Pro to use a Lexmark Optra
via the DLC Protocol (Not TCP/IP). I have the DLC Protocol installed, but
under adding a printer, creating a port, I don't get the option of creating
a "Lexmark DLC Port" as I did under NT4. All I see is "Hewlet Packard
Port" - and if I try to use it, just times out, there must be a difference
between HP DLC and Lexmark DLC.
Is Lexmark DLC a valid printer port option under Win2000 ?
(I know the problem is NOT on the printer end, I can print just fine from an
NT4 box using DLC).
