Does your server have FrontPage extensions??
If so add a hit counter to the page.
Insert > Web Component > Hit Counter.

Hello!!

I think the server is a Unix and this plattform does not have FrontPage
extension.
In these cases how do I accomplich a user counter?

Does your host use a "control panel" that you can use to change options to
your hosting account? eg. Cpanel (depending on the configuration) allows
for such things as hit counters and visitor stats.

Hello!!

When I use URL which is http://hem.passagen.se/kilandagard/
you can see that the hit counter doesn't work.
The hit counter field is placed just below the page titel.

How can I accomplich a hit counter when they don't have
FronPage server extension?

"Cpanel" is a product that Hosting Companies use to let their clients change
settings on their web hosting accounts e.g. setting up email accounts and
installing/uninstalling FP server extensions among other things. One common
thing offered is statistics/hit counters.

"Cpanel" is just *one product* - they may use another different product, but
would do much the same thing.

"HELM" is one such product that uses ASP on Windows (2000 or 2003 server)
machines, with much the same functionality; but it all depends on what your
host offers in their hosting plans.

Check with your host.
