How do I count distinct rows in an Access report control source

I have a record source with duplicate ID #'s and I want to count the number
of distinct ID's in a group footer. I basically want to create a text box
with the count of distinct ID's.

Use a DCount function as the ControlSource, based on a Query where you
Select the Distinct IDs. In the Query Builder, right-click the upper part,
choose Properties, and Unique Values or Unique Records. When the Query
returns the values you desire, save it and use it as the source for the
DCount.
