how do i copy page setup settings of an file to every word file?

Save the document as a template; that way, you will get the desired settings
for all documents created from that template. See

http://word.mvps.org/faqs/customization/WhatTemplatesStore.htm.
However, if you are trying to to change existing files, you will have to do
it manually, or ask in a programming newsgroup such as
microsoft.public.word.vba.general.
