WHy can't i just view source of an document and then copy data and paste to
frontpage and have the same results shown on frontpage as it is shown on the
website(that i am copying source)?

In some cases you can but you'll only want to copy some of the source.
Probably a better bet would be to click and drag over what you want from the
other page (in Internet Explorer) and then copy it, paste it into
FrontPage's WYSIWYG view (this way you'll keep the links to images, etc.
correct).

What exactly is it you're trying to do now, and how is it not working?

If you make web sites for other people, you should check out ContentSeed:

Could be for many reasons.
The page could be using an external css file or javascript file for just a
couple.

....or try browsing to the webpage with IE and choose Edit with Frontpage -
even still you may not get everything needed.
