How do I copy and paste affiliate links onto my web site?

I am a new affiliate for Amazon. To build a link I copy and past their
code onto my web page. Why does it not show up as a graphic, like it
supposed to? It just remains as code, even after I publish to web.

Paste the code into the CODE/HTML view. Otherwise FP thinks its just
text, and displays it as you see it.
 
Thanks Paul. I figured it out not long after I made the post. I appreciate
the help though.
