Have you tried opening the second Access db and importing the query from the
first?

BeanCounter: There might also be a "get external data" option in one of the
menus that allows you select an Access file, and then browse the objects
within that file, select one or more, and import them into your current
database.
BTW when I have to do this and it's only a few objects I open both
databases simultaneously and then drag and drop the objects from one
database container window to the other.
