What on earth do you mean by a "WP" Excel file and a "Word" excel file?
Excel files are excel files are excel files.......
 
WP does not have Excel files.

WP is Word Perfect, a word processor

Hi Mary,
I think you are asking how to convert a QuattroPro file (the spreadsheet
part of Corel's Office Suite) to an Excel file (the spreadsheet part of
Microsoft's Office suite).

In QuattroPro use Save As and specify Excel as the type of file to save.
