Hello,

I have windows xp home edition & the full xp pack for
word, excel, pp, access & outlook. When I try to create
a webpage, either on msn or freewebs, the box comes up to
type in & I can not type in it... It is in html & not
raw html. I can type in the raw but I don't know all the
codes to use, where as, a friend of mine uses their
computer & can type in the regular html box. I even know
others that have xp & can type in the regular box, but
for some reason my system is not allowing me to. Not
sure where the setting might be for that or if I am even
asking the right person? If you could please help, I
would appreciate it.

Thank you!

Do these websites provide an online html tool? If yes, the answers will be
in the online help sections for these programs.

The only suggestion that I have that relates to Windows is to try emptying
your Temporary Internet Files. If too full, they may not be allowing that
online tool to operate properly.

If the web sites involved do not restrict you to using their authoring
tools, Word is capable of creating web pages. You could create the page
"locally" (on your computer) and save it to your hard drive. Then upload a
copy of the page to the web space. How to upload to your web space should
be described in msn and freewebs help areas.
