How do I combine my vacation slides with music?

I'm a first time user trying to create a CD of our vacation using pictures
in my files and background music. How do i begin?
 
First, insert all the pictures by putting each of them onto one slide. You
can use Photo Album to do so. In PowerPoint 2002/XP and above, click Insert
Picture > New Photo Album.
