how do I combine address book into contacts?

i can find how to import my personal address file, but then outlook asks my
to "browse" for that file. i cant find it? where is it? how do i find it?
please help. thanks!
 
We need some more information. What version of Outlook? What kind of address
book file do you have -- is it from another program? Outlook hasn't used a
separate address book since the very early days.
