How do I colour code emails from hotmail?

I have followed the line to add flags to my emails but the Quick Flag field
is hidden.

It works for my other Inbox but not for the hotmail Inbox.

Can someone help please?
 
Thank you very much for your message; I have managed to get it all working.
Why could I not find any information on the Outlook Connector?
 
I am having trouble getting any rules to apply to incoming messages with my
outlook connector. I am using a microsoft live account and use connector to
get my info into outlook.
