How do I close extra windows and save my work?

When I want to copy an internet file to word this message appears:
There is insufficient memory or disk space. Close extra windows and save
your work. How do I close extra windows ?
 
Could be your temporary folder is full, in Internet Explorer, tools, Internet
Options, delete files.
