How do I close down Lycos?

I tried to post this earler, but it seems to have
disappeared. Does anyone know how to get rid of
the "Lycos Sidesearch" that always seems to open when I
open my Internet Explorer? (I can just close it, but I
want to prevent it from coming up any more).

You'll need "Hijack This" to get rid of this Spyware pest.
