Hello,

Thank you for posting.

I understand that you are looking for information on how to clear/delete
recent play list in Windows Media Player.

Please find the steps:

Removing Recent Entries in Windows Media Player 9 Series

1. Click Options under the Tools menu.
2. Click the Privacy tab.
3. Click the Clear History button to clear Windows Media Player's recently
played files list.
4. Click the Clear CD/DVD button to clear Windows Media Player's recently
played CD and DVD list.

Also please find the related KB Article:

How to Delete the Recent Play List from Windows Media Player
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;q243621

I hope the above information helps. If there is anything unclear, please
feel free to let me know. Thank you and have a nice day!

Rashmi

Under WMP's Help:About menu option, what exact version does it say that you
are using?
The Tools:Options:Privacy tab is present in WMP9 and later...

Kind of, but you would be better off by updating to Windows XP SP2, which
has WMP9. In any case,
http://www.zachd.com/pss/pss.html#mru
should help you clear this.
