How do I clean up my inbox?

Hello,

After "linking to record" (not auto linking) an email correspondence to the
communications history of an account, can I create a folder for it (and
others) and remove it from my inbox, or can I delete it from the inbox and
still have it show up in history.

Is it better to save it as a file first and put THAT in the history instead?
 
Or should I simply leave it in the inbox and let them pile up over time?

You can move your email to a sub folder of the Inbox, and BCM will
still open the email.

If you delete the email altogether, then BCM will keep a record of it
(Subject, From, and a few other fields), but can't open the original
email any longer.
