how do i clean a stuck key?

Hi All,

I have a customer with Windows 2000 Professional, sp4.
I can not use ERUNT to backup her registry, as ERUNT
reports something wrong with the "Software" hive. (I
presume this to be a corrupted key.)

Question: is there so kind of utility I can run
to clear this problem?

I upgraded from ERUNT version "d" to version "i"
and now I can backup the "Software" hive.
