Help,
How do I check my outlook mail at another computer that
does not allow me to use outlook? My school does not allow
me to use outlook. I have office 2000 at home and would
like to check my home e-mail at school. Any help would be
appreciated.

My friend, there is no such thing as "Outlook mail". There is just
"internet email". Outlook is just an email program, used to download email
from a computer at your ISP network center, using server settings you
provided when you set up your account at home. Your account at home is not
physically in Outlook. Your actual account is on a hard drive which is
physically at your ISP's network operations center. Outlook just contains
internet addresses which it uses to download your email from their mail
server, which is actually a computer and hard drive at your ISP's network
center. Any email program can read that email, as long as the email program
is set up to connect to your mail server (usually your ISP's mail server).

Ask your computer lab person how to set up a mail account which can access
your home account. Though i doubt that they will allow this.

It is also possible that your email provider has a Web front end to your
mail server. My ISP provides a way to access my home email account from
within any web browser anywhere in the world. Perhaps yours does too. Many
ISPs provide this service for free. Ask them if they provide this, and how
to access it.

You could also ask your ISP about forwarding the email from your home
account to your school account. However, most ISPs will only do this if you
pay extra for the service. It may also be possible to get them to forward
all your email which arrives on their servers only during certain hours (for
instance, while you are at school) to your school account. But like I said,
they probably are going to want to charge you extra for that service.
